Study Abroad - Cofradia de Suchitlan

These are some pictures I took in May of 2010. They give you some idea of the places we will visit and the accommodations we will have.

Escuela Primaria Constitucion is one of the schools were we will be doing some classroom observations and service learning activities.

The classrooms, library, and computer center surround a plaza-like play area. A sports field is located where you see the trees in the background.

The Computer Center is currently being used as a classroom while some remodelling is taking place.

Fourth year students in their classroom.

At the teachers college in Colima they have a monument to teachers. Where have you seen such a monument anywhere else?

Some USU students will be staying at this house, which is a part of the Project Amigo.

Others will stay at the Hacienda where the Project Amigo offices are located and where meals will be served and classes held.

A typical double bed room.

A typical twin beds rooom.

The local store for all your shopping needs.

The main street in Cofradia de Suchitlan.

The road leading out of Cofradia and towards the sugar cane fields.

The Project Amigo Bus.
